I bought this camera about 6 months back. Its been an excellent companion for me for all my traveling as well as taking pictures during functions. The most attractive feature is the ease of use. The new features added include a lens cleaner and image optimization in the camera itself. This is my first experience with a slr but i never had any difficulties going through the intuitive menu. It boasts of a 10.2 megapixel effect and comes with the new nikon vibration reduction(vr) lens. The image quality is fantastic with great photos, both indoors and outdoors.

Go for it. Its a very good buy at the cost it comes for. The official rate is around 33-35k but it is selling in the grey market for around 26-28k. The inbuilt flash is good for most routine work. Similar products from canon come for around 44k but nikon has traditionally been known to be better camera in slr segment. It comes with 8 different modes of photography and you can choose for your needs. The connectivity is through a supplied usb cable and can also have a direct video out(optional cable).do write to me for any other clarifications regarding the camera.
