I bought this camera around 4 months ago. I had been using point and shoot camera from quite a long time, so I thought to upgrade. I searched a lot online platforms and checked a lots of reviews of lots of cameras. But I liked the Nikon D5300 most. But I was quite expensive for me. So I had to remain with a little older model Nikon D5200. I got this camera from local retailer for 28500 with one 18-55mm lense. It is a very good camera with 24.3 mp CMOS sensor. Pictures are very sharp and of good quality. One won't regret if he would put his money on this camera. It have 5fps speed. Battery backup is also very good .you can easily shoot above 450 pictures. But the few things I didn't liked about it is that it dosen't have built in focus motor. So you will have yo buy AF-S lenses for autofocus which are quite expensive as comapre to AF lenses. If you just wish to do just casual photography with a DSLR then you can go for Canon 1200d which is also a very good camera and at lower price along with two lenses.
