I fell in love with photography after buying this dslr, have been using it for more than 2 yrs now. Produces pro-level pictures, Low grains and good VR handling.
It has a 39 Point Af, which has provided to be extremely useful when doing a sports-shoot or a children's birthday party.
It is built well, weather-protected. I have used this in heavy rains and on extremely dusty days in Rajasthan as well. It has not failed me ever. Once though, the arrow buttons were not working, but on properly drying and cleaning the camera, it worked smooth once again.
The 18-55mm kit lens is not so good actually. I would prefer you to go for a 18-135mm lens. or a 24-70mm if you have the budget. This dslr is a bit heavy though.
