I was looking for an entry level DSLR camera and have never used a DSLR before. Good camera and no troubles except one thing - the flash on the top broke off. There is a very small hinge that holds the flash flap when the flash is not in use.
Now that mine has broke, the flash would always be in 'open' position and hence the it would always fire. I have to use a cellotape to hold it in position which is not a clean solution. I still have to look at warranty options because I bought the camera from UK and I am now in India. The warranty that came with the camera is only european warranty.
Other pros are its compactness, light weight, and ease of use.
Other than this thing, the camera is very good. The lens that came with the camera is the regular 18-55mm AF lens and seems alright for regular photography... Thanks.
