Hello friend Nikon is very good and very trusted brand . digital SLR from Nikon, The Nikon D40 is an all new affordable.Excellent feel and compact size; I go through lots of cameras.A friend of mine told me same is the scene at my home so let’s demand.Great image quality right out of the camera. It’s nice to enhance photos in software like photoshop.This camera’s most amazing thing is it has Effective pixels 6.1 million, Sensitivity 200 to 1600 in steps of 1 EV.Nikon D40 is a nice product it is a new it features also exclient it point and shoot is digital slr it is a affordable compact.Nikon has hit a grand slam with his camera.The Nikon D40 is an all new affordable, compact, I just amaze sharpness.For the first timers who r shifting from a compact digital or from a semi prof cam.Good camera and no troubles
