Bought this gr8 camera two months back in Japan. I have had some excellent moments of learning and awe with this device.

First wonderful thing about this is , its the cheapest SLR available in the market. But it is considered a complete beginners camera that many known SLR forums don't even consider this camera as an SLR in their reviews and discussion.

But before I bought this camera I just used the 'Find camera' Feature in Flickr and viewed many pics took with this camera and decided if this camera can take pics as good as this, then the rest is in my hands.

For most of you who will buy this camera, this will be your first SLR so certainly will not fail to impress you with the complete control to photography parameters like aperture, shutter speed, ISO, flash mode, etc etc. You will definitely be amazed and be happy with your purchase. Will also not fail to impress you with the flexibility that an SLR brings with it to your photography.

But probably after a month or two after a few thousand clicks you will start realizing that this has more noise in the same light level that your friends D90 had.Which is because of the comparatively smaller sensor size than that of the Nikon DXX series. But apart from this for amateurs this is a perfect choice for beginners.

Before buying also consider the Canon Rebel which is also a very good but because I got a personal affinity for Nikon I went for this.

And those who can afford to shell out an extra 10000 Rs pls go for the D90 as will take a few months or yrs longer for you to realize the noise dissatisfaction.!!
