Nikon P80 is a good compact camera comparable with SLR series. Image quality from Nikon is always excellent. I always prefer Nikon rather than Sony or Canon or Panasonic. Previously I used Coolpix E4600 which was my first digital camera, but now this P80 is a very good camera with various packages. But read the manual carefully before using the camera. It is very easy to handle it.
You will find capturing images a fun. The most excitement to me to use 18X zoom to take pics of hills, birds.Coolpix P80 offers 10 megapixels, a full range of automatic and manual exposure control.
Price is reducing everyday. In Indiatimes shopping, you will get it at Rs. 15, 505 only. You have to pay for SD memory card, pouch etc. For extreme zoom, I advice to use tripod. In low light, this camera produces pincoushions. Always try to avoid low light and above ISO 400.
