Nice in Day, Waste for Night. Review on Nikon Coolpix L110

I have purchased Nikon Coolpix L110a month back(Hyderabad)

I have no exp with the digital cameras. But based on the reviews of international websites & sales guy recommendation I made purchase of Nikon Coolpix L110.

As already mentioned being a new user I did lot of R&D with camera features, got some of the shots developed. Based on which I can say camera is good for day time shooting. But for night its real pain to take even a single shoot if zoomed without blur. Forget about taking picture of moving object in night, its real night mare even for still objects.

Having noticed the problem I approached the store from where I had made purchase, now sales person verdict regarding camera was "Sir, we have received same problem from some more customer, & one of them had over come it by reinstalling some upgraded software".(To confirm on same I visited few other shops asking for L110, some of them have stopped selling it as they are aware of problem & don't want to put customer in trouble & invite trouble for themselves, so good of such shops!)

So I approached service station, where the nice guy happily upgraded software from 1.3Vr. to 1.4 Vr., as if he attending customer like me day in day out with same problem! Same evening(night) I had spend again 1 hr with camera to check on its performance.

Definitely performance got better so I was able to take the still picture without blur(not sharp though), but moving objects(like vehicles on road) in sports mode is still a problem. Either I am expecting too much from my camera or some problem still persist in it, which is yet to be confirm. Butone big question which crept in my mind is that, Is Nikon Coolpix L110 sold in India has shutter problem either with a batch of production or entier lot?(otherwise why Nikon is upgrading the software).
