I took this model on Feb 2010 from Brussels . Before that I was using Canon IXUS .... I did lots of research from the internet before finalizing Nikon D5000 ... you will find many international sites where they provide you with good comparison and why u should go with it ... many of the technical things went above my head .. I but I finally decided on this one ....
Lots of features in the Nikon model and am still learning .... I like the shutter speed, style and the picture quality ... I have taken thousands of pic wt this (as it wont cost me) .... overall I am quite satisfied.
