What nexg tv is doing is calling people and telling big things about their service of tv channels in your cell phone via the mobile service provider. It then sends sms and asks to click on a link to activate the service. Even though I did not click and activate, it sent another sms saying the service has been activated and I have been charged Rs 99/-.
I visited its website which shows 2010 as the copyright year. There is no link to the "About Us" button. There is no way you can contact this fraud back. In the FAQ section, there is a number 52628 to unsubscribe the service. I tried but the sms is not going. It seems the number is not there. I am post-paid BSNL customer. I request BSNL not to tie up with this kind of fraudsters.
Needless to say, please do not fall prey to this company if you get call from it.
