There are so many words used to defame News media in India. "Presstitutes" in the most common one. For me, NDTV News does not fall under "presstitutes" category. This is by far a good news channel and presents news in a very simple way. Either Ravish Kumar's Hindi and reporter or Barkha Dutt's English, all they do is show their simplicity not only in presenting but also in anchoring.
Audience are fade up with shouting and sensitizing nothing to make everything. And, NDTV News has stood against this and has done far better job. I like NDTV and rate it 4 out of 5.
