Most of the faculty are inexperienced and have little practical knowledge. They seem to just mug up the syllabus exercises and come to teach . very little practical experience or applicationknowledge. You pay for almost everything . and they have fines for almost everything.
Computer Science, Info. Science faculty are not qualified or experienced at all.
Senior faculty, HOD's do not stay for long, they leave after max. 2 years: why? Must be reasons for doing so, right?
After all the money you pay at admission you have to pay extra for Placement Training in 3rd year, that too only if you have a brilliant record(if you have backlogs which you may have cleared later, or scores below 70% you will be told it’s not good enough). Again, once you are placed you pay a Placement fee which is either 1/4 or 1/2 of one month's salary in the company where you get placed! Then why collect all that money from everyone at admission time itself?
Claims about scholarships are made to sound good at admission time, many students had to fight for getting the scholarship. Huge difference between what is claimed at admission time, and what you actually get after joining.
Parents, . there are many really good colleges, like RVCE, BMS, M.S. Ramaiah, PESIT, Acharya, CMRIT, etc. The management is looking to keep expenses to a minimum when it comes to something which cannot be showcased for marketing at the time of admissions.
This is more of a "Placement Shop" . not an engg. college! There are other institutes where you pay far less and get good placement! Don’t waste your hard-earned money on New Horizon unless you only regard it as a glorified placement shop!
