Delhi – The City where sab kuch Ho jaata hai !!!
Dear Readers,
I am writing a review again – this time for the city where I was born- the city where I live and the city where you may not say it’s happening yet it’s there for you to just lay back and have a good time. Kehte hain Dilli Dil Walon ka Shaehar hai– and the saying is quite true when you come visiting. The people here – All coming from different regions all having their very own customs and traditions all coming to this laid back place where you will find ample time to open your mouth wide open and yawn. Yes the idea of Delhi and its people is just to have it laid back. Work goes on and life moves on. History has seen many a battles fought here – the city has been destroyed so many times and yet it has stood up rebuilt itself to empowering glory once again and then laid back to let the world pass by.
Delhi though is not a hot spot for night-lovers and neither does it have the civic sense of any other metropolitans of the country and neither do we find the most sought after tourist spots here – Delhi has it’s own beauty by way of the sprawling gardens big and wide roads (yes I agree you got to visit South and Central Delhi to do that) but still the city is cool to live in and enjoy life if you’re a person with not so much of a fuss. Shopping malls, Eat-outs and the type are generally existent but I doubt you would let go of an opportunity to shop in those by-lanes of Janpath or go to buy a Sareee in those crowded bazaars of Chandni –Chowk. For adventure-seekers you can have ample chances to run into the High-Security Cavalcades of the Prime-Minister or even the President. The greatness of these people is that they wouldn’t mind one-bit , fact is the Delhi-Police would – and you might have to spend a fortnight or two in the High-Security Prison of Delhi – once again which can get to closer to Heaven than Hell. Delhi has been known to be having the best Policing Forces in the current scenario. It is also ranked highly in the global forces- and it has combative experience in handling terrorism, petty thefts, murders and the kind and most importantly Corruption. They have a 100% track record of nabbing Criminals – the only condition being – they catch them on a first come first serve basis no verification is required -pity they didn’t have an office in the South or Veerappan would have been history.
Another beautiful aspect of Delhi has been the Oh-la-la ladies – well you don’t get more and you don’t get less- all colours all kinds – yes if you’re an eligible bachelor looking for someone to marry you may find marriage is not so easy an option – but let me warn you might be hear-broken all the same. Do take adequate attention in this regard. For the nature-lover – you don’t seem to find a place much better than Delhi as whosesoever you might go you are sure to find open toilets and leaking drains- of course the shrubs and thorny plants planted by the Delhi Government do add to the beauty of the whole cause. If you are a tourist – It is better you don’t bring any money with you to this city as we Delhiities take pride in taking care and custody of our neighbours money and the kind. We treat the money of the ones we love with special and utmost attention – that is why we are so known to be gullible and so kind at heart.
But at the end of it – I still believe you just can’t get anyone as laid back and with so much compassion as a Delhiite. Yes you guessed it right I am also a Delhiite.
Well if you ask me to rate my own review I think it has no rating still would like to read it just for the sake of …
