My list of pros and cons of Delhi as a destination. Review on New Delhi

I stay in Delhi and I have had tourists/ friends from across the globe visiting me. So, from tourist reviews/ feedback and my own experience, I can safely say that Delhi is pretty average as a tourist attraction.

Pros for tourists visiting delhi -

Excellent street food - You can try amazing local delicacies all around town in local "dhabbas" or small street food stands all across town. Special delights are pani puri, chola baturas, chaat etc.

Superb architecture - Qutab minar, humayun's tomb, lotus temple, akshardham top the list.

Good night life - amazing pub culture in Haus khas village and superb nightclubs in 5 star hotels. Crowd is not the best with uneven ratio of boys/ girls and tad rowdy crowd but go with locals and you will have a gala time.

Cons for tourists visiting Delhi -

Pollution - Delhi is voted as most polluted city of the world

Over-crowded - Super crowded with traffic jams on streets, making commuting difficult. Metros etc are always full too.

Apart from this the kind of people you meet, places you see, things you do will make or break your delhi experience. All in all, its just another big city but if you are a foodie, its a must visit.
