I was first introduced to the Neutrogena products when I tried their shower gels and oil. They are a couple dollars higher than other store brands but well worth the investment. Because I was so satisfied with their other products, I decided to try the Anti-residue shampoo. I use a number of hair care products on a daily basis including washing and shampooing my hair at least once a day. The Anti-Residue shampoo is a once a week treatment to remove any leftover residue from these types of products.
Every Friday I use the Neutrogena shampoo in place of my regular shampoo. It claims to instantly remove up to 70% of residue from styling products and daily care hair products. Well their claims are true. In fact, I would go one step further and suggest that it removes an even higher percentage. After using the shampoo, my hair feels completely stripped of any excess products. In fact, it works so well that my hair feels a tad dry so I use an extra squirt of conditioner afterwards to make combing easier.
You use the shampoo like any other and just squirt a little in your hand and apply to your thoroughly dampened head of hair. I have tried other clarifying shampoos but none have had the results that Neutrogena provides. Give it a try!
