Am a psychiatrist and I do offer online consult for my patients.Its sometimes tedious for the patients to obtain medication and so I decided to try out netmeds for the first time since if found useful I could use it more often.I must tell that its a great venture.
I encountered following problems
- Order was confirmed on 13 and it was shipped on 16 and it was delivered on 21.Funny part is that the delivery location is in bangalore itself and it took five working days to deliver to a place probably with in ten kms. This is unacceptable especially when the patients are in need and I understand if its a place far away or remote.
2.I prescribed two medications after confirming the availability and after review by the pharmacist only one medication was sent.I don't think pharmacist need to edit the medicines to be sent once a valid prescription is given by a qualified doctor. Dispensing only one part of prescription is not going to help in anyway.If its unavailable or restricted to be sent this way I apologize but otherwise pharmacist needn't play doctor.
3.There are several positives but I think these negatives should be taken to consideration too.I sent them a feedback but didnt care to reply.Thats bad.
