Net4Domains is owned by Net4India. It provides services for booking the domain names for websites. They provide facility for making payment online. But the process of booking the domain name is not that fast.
Because of ease of payment, I use to get the domain name booked through net4india.com. I tried to book one domain from net4domain and made payment online. After doing so, I received a message that domain name has been booked successfully. So far so good!!! Again I got an automated message that domain name can not be booked because it seems that it has already been booked. This should have been checked before taking payment. I talked to the help line and they assured that domain name will be booked within a day as there is some problem.
Worried with this, I tried another ISP on phone and requested to book the same domain name as I required it urgently. I was having very less hope as it could not be booked by net4domain. But to the best of my surprise, ISP booked domain for me and took the payment.
There are two things in this issue -
I lost the faith in net4domain as their system was not fast enough and accurate to identify the available domain names and book for the clients
Even after I booked the domain, their system was not fast enough to reply me back that domain name has already been booked. Executive on job, informed me again that your domain name will be booked as soon as possible. Finally after two days, they informed you book that domain name through some other company. Then, I requested for refund of my payment that they gracefully agreed to. Against my complaint DEL-03082004/1998, they informed that my refund is under process and will be returned soon.
Being net4domain a reputed company, I waited for almost 45 days but no reply came. I again contacted net4domain and requested for the payment. They advised me that I should lodge a fresh complaint giving reference of old complaint number. I did that too...!!!! But no reply for last 10 days. I do not know to whom I should blame... its management....or .. its system which do not respond if some thing goes wrong.... or simply advise other not to deal with net4domain because once a wrong financial transaction is made.. they will become simply virtual.... I do not recommend to have serious business with net4domain.com
