A museum is a building in which you get knowledge of Historical, scientific, Artistic cultural interest. It is a building in which interesting and valuable things such as paintings sculptures scientific and historical objects are displayed.
Nehru Planetarium is a centre for the study of Astronomy and place for discussions of scholars.It has Art gallery science and space centre.
It is made of marble with huge space of thousand people at one time.It is located in Worli, in Mumbai. The timing visiting hours from 10a.m to 5p.m. Sunday close. The entry fee for adults is 50 rupees and 25 for children.
Inside Nehru Planetarium is an Art gallery, restaurant, library and a cultural centre.There are galleries which include architect and artistic works, photographs and audio visual.
This place is mostly flooded by students. It is good place for the students. The museum displays tram car, railway engine, stream lorry and jet.
Many fairs and exhibition are also organized in Nehru centre. Here is Nehru auditorium the place of classical music dance, plays and concerts.
For the visitors Nehru Planetarium provide sight of cosmic world, astronomy, solar system. You can watch study and click photos of the Eclipses. You can also watch through the telegraph. This museum create awareness about astronomy.
Nehru Planetarium also runs a Theatre program. The theatre shows are in English Hindi and Marathi.Nehru planetarium is a place worth watching. I have visited many times. Nehru planetarium is best place for tourists also. Whenever you visit Mumbai must visit this museum.
