I went to Shirdi on 9th May by a bus with Vashi as boarding point at 10.45. But, it reached Vashi at 12.00. Punctuality?? Once I occupied my seat, I found that the recline isn't working. When I called the attendant, he didn't come to me. He dodged my call. Hospitality??
The recline of the seat in the front row was uncontrollable. Though that guy wanted to recline only a bit, he had to recline fully, as there was some problem in the system.Once we crossed Thane, I moved to an unoccupied seat. Feeling cold, I closed the AC outlet and slept. But, I started feeling cold after a few minutes. When I felt the outlet with my fingers, its open.
How come? I closed again & it’s open after a few minutes. Then, I examined and understood that the cover is very loose and because of the vibrations etc, its opening. You call these comforts??After reaching Shirdi, I asked the driver to stop at a certain location. He didn’t care to do so. He stopped only at Neeta Hotel. Are they marketing their hotel aggressively?
Is this the way they treat their passengers?The worst is yet to come. I booked my return journey also by 10.00 PM bus from Shirdi at Mumbai itself. I reached the boarding point around 9.45 PM. The guy in the counter started questioning me as if I did some fraud. Irritated, I told him to contact the travel agent from whom I booked my ticket. After his call, I understood that my booking was not entered into their records. Professional management?? From then, he started avoiding facing me. When I insisted on getting a reply, he said that he’ll adjust me in another bus.
But, he couldn’t tell me in which bus he’ll accommodate me. After sometime, I asked for a proper reply. Then, he talked as if he’s doing me a favour. But, when the buses were about to depart from Shirdi, he again started dodging me. Only when I was very adamant about getting a seat number immediately, he adjusted me somewhere. He advised me to get the booking confirmed as soon as I reach Shirdi from next time. What the heck is it? Why should I go to the office again?In both up & return journey, the buses were very badly maintained. The AC duct had leaks !!! The elastic for the bottle holder became a hanging thread. The magazine holders were hanging on 1 or 2 screws or are removed.As a whole, I’d rate that service, quality etc as THE WORST. No value for our money. I’d never again travel by Neeta nor would I recommend it to my friends.
