The movie Neerja is based on true event and inspired by neerja bhanot, As she was the real example of bravery for us and name of neerja will be shine forever in world history. The movie is directed by Ram madhwani and is written by Saiwyn Quadras.
The plot of the movie is extremely good, character neerja played by sonam kapoor and she looks very beautiful and performs superb. She given the life to this character I think, No one might perform like Sonam Kappor. The script of movie revolves around a moment as a air-plane has been hijacked by some terrorist while plane takes off for newyork to Karachi, neerja is air hostess and neerja along with all passengers have been hostage for some terror motive. Main story starts from here as neerja without being feared she faces down the terrorist and saves the life of 360 people and she has been shot while saving the life, neerja is an example of real courage. I really got inspired from this movie and whenever and wherever if I got an chance to serve the needy people surely I will help them out. Even though this movie tries to give message to whole nation “ Help Others” if you can.
Other starcast like sherkher as neerja boyfriend, Shabana Azmi as neerja’s mother have done justice to their role. The song “Aisa kyun Maa”sung by Sunidhi Chauhan is very heart touching which almost makes you cry. When I was in theater at last scene when neerja was dying truth be told tears were trickling down from my eyes. So overall this is really superb movie and everyone must watch it.
