What is so wrong with this film?????. Review on Neal N Nikki

I wonder everytime when people exagerrate their disliking for any product without thinking much about the efforts that the concerned people put in.

Same is the case with the much brutally bashed and abused film of yashraj Neal n Niki. I am reading extremly bad and negative reviews about this film for the last one month on MS and on other websites but when I finally watched the film myself three days ago I was so much surprised that was that film really deserved that much bashing and negative ratings????

Well I admit that NEAL N NIKI is no DDLJ, Mohabbatain, hum tum and not even DTPH, and people were really disappointed by watching their favourite Kajol's sister and Tanuja's daughter in Malika Sherawat's shoes as they were not at all ready for that much big shock from this kall ki chokri Taneesha and some even said that this lil girlhas spoiled the goodwill and name of her talented mom n sis.. Well does this really matter in measuring the pros of a film???

Anyhow I find Neal n niki an absolutely enetertaining film (but ofcourse not with family) with very little and thin plot but plenty of fresh sequences, light scenes and intersting grip on the proceedings. I dont know how the people felt headache after watching this light entertainer, well if they compalin about headaches after watching Kya dil nay kaha, yaadain, kisna, hello brother, bhagmatee - the queen of fortunes and karam etc it is very much beleivable but in case of neal n niki I think its plain exaggerration and a fashion to follow others blindly and bashing an already not so much well doing film.

The director deserves positive points to make a two hour plus films that basically has no plot but revolves around incidents just like Main hoon na and Kya kool hain hum to some extent.

Uday chopra looked comfortable, but his gayish makeup and visible red lipstick diluted the impact of his character. Also he needs some more expressions to wear on his face rather then those serious looks or that sweet layback broad smile, but anyways he was fair but still needs to show some charisma as an actor.

As far as Tanisha is concerned, apart from her unwanted and un expected heavy dose of skin show she has shown no improvement in this film, it does not mean that she is bad but I found her the same girl with same acting timings, calibre and approach as she showed two and half years ago in her debut SSshhhh. Also unfortunately just entirely opposite to her very talented sister Kajol she does not have any solid & strong personality at all , she is neither beautiful nor graceful also you cannot label her cute, baby faced or even sultry and sexy just another un appealing, cold and non charismatic struggler in the new league of the actresses..what a pitty if you compare her with Kareena who becomes much much more powerful, beautiful , charismatic, influencial and better actress even then her elder sister Karisma who was ten years senior in the film industry when kareena arrived in 2000 but the younger Kareena break the records of Karisma's popularity in the first two years of her career itself.

Richa palload after giving duds like kuch tum kaho kuch hum kahin, tumse milke wrong number and kaun hai jo sapno mai naaya as a solo heroine , looked innocent and pretty in her two scenes role. No Comments about her acting as she does not have any scope at all as she played the role of a shy but bimbo girl who was involved with a comedian sardar with a guitar.

Anyways, the music of the film was easy to ears and jelled with the mood of the film, cinematography was crispy and screenplay was although looks a bit scattered but still manages your attention as whole. The ''tiny meeany'' scene of the foreigner girl (describing her brea$ts) and the DDLJ sequence in which Tanisha paid tribute to her sis in ''tujhey dekha to'' will really put a smile on your face.

Finally I am really surprised about so much bashing of this cute titilatting film that can be easily watched to spent some fun time with your friends . Easily recommend to youth and not so much nagging people.
