THE BAD AND THE WORST

I had been attracted to the worst movies in the recent years, and this time I had the opportunity to watch a movie which was rather suffering from something like a mad cow disease. I saw the movie only yesterday, thus making the inevitable happen only after I had enough preperations (Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena seemed to a great movie compared to this one).

Neal N Nikki, the ''supposed to be cool movie'' turned out to be a cold movie torturing the viewers without any kind of logic in it. The only good thing about the movie ar some stunning visuals of Canada, supported by nothing else, but the body show. The first half seems to be based on theory of ''more skin, more viewers'', but the viewers have better sense than these guys, and thus the movie flops!

These days I have been recommending everything and its time I give something a low rating, and this game was a real blessing for me. It almost like watching a movie to write a review. Back to the movie, it's major feature is ''how lips stick to each other, like Spider-Man sticking to the walls.

The movie also features two people with the worst acting skills, Uday Chopra and Tanisha Mukherji (And I thought Dino Morea and Sohail Khan were the worst actors). Uday certainly had done lots of good jobs, but this one is sick, may be he was getting too cool that he scared off the audience.

THE POOR PLOT

Neal (Uday Chopra) is supposed to be cool guy (atleast he thinks so, he almost seems like a sex maniac!). His parents wants him to marry a girl called Sweetie (Richa Pallod). He agrees to it only on one condition that he is going to enjoy 21 days of his bachelor life to the maximum. As he tries to begin the enjoyment, he comes across an Indian girl Nikki (Tanisha Mukherji) and ends up running around with her, helping the girl in getting her boy friend back (Pyar To Hona Hi Tha?).

Well, most part of the movie seems to have some relation with a few of the movies produced earlier. The climax of the movie determines who marries whom in this crazy movie. This is a typical love story, and so it won't be a problem for any one to know how this one is going to end. If you get bored watching the movie, you can count the number of times you feel like howling in the theatre.

POOR PERFORMANCES

Uday Chopra just keeps grinning 24 hours. It is ok that he is not too good looking. But it would have been better if he show atleast a shadow of acting instead of showing all the muscles and those scary facial expressions. He can do better modeling with his face covered.

He could have certainly done better if he stay around with the roles like the ones he got in Dhoom where Abhishek Bachan and John Abraham dominated, and this guy could do his small role some justice. If there is any thing worse than the movie, it is this man, Uday Chopra. I would rather prefer to see the former Indian team member Nikhil Chopra acting!

Tanisha Mukherji does a lot in the movie, almost everything except acting. Screaming in full volume, continous kissing and exposing even upto a bikini. With her irregular hair, she seems to have come out from the mental asylum after recieving a shock treatment. It seems that she is not getting too much offers, that she agreed to a move like this where you got to show lots of skin and still the movie ends up as a disaster!

Richa Pallod looks cute in the movie, but she doesn't have much to do instead of giving a beautiful smile. You will be surprised at the speed at which Abhishek Bachan comes to the screen and disappear. His role was unnecessary and could have been avoided. It is the songs ''Neil N Nikki'' and ''Halla Re'' which manages to create some interest in the movie other than the skin show.

This movie is not bad, the exact words that suit it are pathetic and horrible. Right from the begining, till th end, this movie is just trying to heat the things up showing off some bodies and providing us with some stupid jokes and a plot which guides nowhere.

The conclusion is that if you avoid this movie, it is like you have won the World Cup all by yourself. You will be safe atleast until the next pack of nonsense is released. If you want to watch it so badly, watch it alone so that no one else is made to suffer. Let's hope that Bollywood grows up from these meaningless movies and produce some good, different ones like Kalyug, Zinda and Range De Basanti.
