I would like to blow the Whistle here!.
Naukri.com is also leading in malpractices. Naukri.com is cheap, downright shallow minded and short-sighted in its ways and means. Perhaps it wouldn't care a damn to earn money by any means.
In the past one year, many of my friends, registered as free users/job aspirants on Naukri.com have seen their cv's intentionally changed by insiders from Naukri.com. In order to force candidates to cough up money for their Resume Display services the following modus operandi is adopted:
Resume details are changed / deleted / headline/objective statement is reduced to a puny collection of words.
Candidate suddenly sees a drop in response and resume views.
Within a week's time, a Sales Rep (speaking bad English) calls up the affected candidate if s/he would like to get better responses.
If the candidate says NO, he is kept in the cross-hair and the same things are done to him every month!
Sure there is a customer service system, but when such things are highlighted they say blandly that they do not have the prior (original) version of cv with them .. c'mon folks, what security system is there if there is no audit-trail on the database servers. Roll backs MUST be possible, just that they won't do it to force candidates pay up money.
So much for high-handedness by Naukri.com ... ah! the Premier Site by Alexa .. Premier in Malpractices!!
