I have had long years of frustration when it comes to using keyboards. I normally sit at my comp for hours on end and use it for extensive typing. I have for long suffered from what is now known as Repetitive Stress Injury (and even carpal tunnel syndrome). After reading an ad for this ergonomic keyboard from Microsoft, I decided to see if it would actually work for me.
It cost Rs.2, 800/- from a Brigade Road shop, and comes with a CD to load it's drivers from. It worked right out of the box with it's USB connector. The shape of the keyboard looks a bit weird at first, and the layout takes a little getting used to . I found myself hitting the wrong keys all to often in the beginning, and had to force myself to persevere. After just a couple of days I was glad that I did. It now feels as natural as my old keyboard(which is a Microsoft wireless keyboard, and pretty neat in itself!). Within the first week I noticed that uncomfortable stress on the wrists was gone, I no longer need to take quick breaks to'rotate' my wrists in order to ease the ache in them.and my typing speed and staying-ability at the keyboard have both improved.
I would recommend this to anyone who seriously uses the keyboard and suffers as I used to.
