I happen to visit this place last month and it is a heaven for stamp and post card collectors with collection from all over the globe.
The best way to reach this museum is via metro where one can exit from gate number 3 and its just across the road.
The stamps have been displayed in different categories according to the time period and their country. The display are done well with proper lighting which gives it a nice aesthetic feel. There is a lot of stamps to see and definitely a must go for the collectors and it is a boasting a complete postage history of not just india but many other nations too.
There is no entry fee for this museum, one can go inside by keeping their bags outside and signing in the visitors register.
It opens 5 days a week from 10 AM to 5 PM(closes on weekends). It also has a separate sections where visitors can buy postcards but I really didnt like the attitude of the lady serving there who was busy all the time on phone which is generally not an expected behavior . There is not much staff there and in the buyers section too not much to buy exceot few memorabilia.
This place is definitely a must go .
