Your guide or driver will sweet talk you to visit this place because they certainly get a cut(commission) for the sales you will yield to this shit-hole of a store. This probably is Jaisalmer's most infamous store, where you will get cheated like a boss.
I bought bandhini sarees for my mother, sister and wife from this store. I thought sarees would be the best thing to carry as souvenirs for women, because they love sarees. I was told these Bandhini sarees are coloured with natural vegetable and stones colours and that these colours don't fade at any cost. To our surprise, after I returned to Bangalore, the bandhini sarees lost all their colors when they were soaked in water. Now these amazing sarees look like they were dyed in 320 BC(BC - Before Christ or take it as you like it)
I called these scumbags from Bangalore and told them my problem, to which they said they told me that I should only dry wash it and that they never told me the colours won't fade. Oh wait, they did tell me, but I am a mad-man, who has so much money that I bought these beautiful sarees as gifts for the women in my life and wasted my money by soaking them in water.
Please do not visit this store, please.(But I am sure if you are reading this, you have already been to this store and are cheated)
Don't fall for the positive reviews written here. People who get cheated don't lie, you see.
