I had a problem of Short sight(Myopia) since childhood. Even though I used Spectacles, my eyes power was varying drastically. Later I wore Contact Lenses for about 7 years. meanwhile I contacted Dr. Rohit Shetty of Narayan Nethralaya to know about Lasik surgery as the power had already reached -9. I was advised not to go for Intralasik till I am 21 years old. Finally I could go for it when I was 24, after earning sufficient money for the treatment. It was a proper cycle for me. First counselling, later few visits to check whether my eyeballs are healthy enough to undergo the treatment and all.
Finally I got it done one fine day and for 3 months I had to go with strict medications(Eye drops) and do some eye exercises. To assist I used to have Vitamin A rich vegetables. Its been 3 years now and I must say not even a single point is increased.
It is really a boon for me from Dr. Rohit Shetty.
