I went to NH for my daughter ASD for second opinion. We know there is ASD and she need ASD closed through either device or surgery. We just wanted to second opinon from Dr Devi Shetty, we had all reports and reports are 30 days old, They made to us take executive OPD and asked us take new xray and echo, ecg and made huge bill and after spending around 5-6 hrs Dr Shetty seens reports and fowareded to Dr Shishya Maiya. He give us lots of confidence to go for Device closed and we decided for that. During the operation day and they made us pay for all pre-test amount and admitted and Device closer has failed. And recommended for operation immediately and even made us to consult surgeon.
After few thought we decided not to go for operation and discharged from narayana hospital, with all this I lost almost 40000/-. Staff are not well there lot of communication gaps between doctors and nurses. We decided to discharge but nurses where not aware and preparing us for open heart surgery. During the stay Dr Maiya not even visited once in IPD and all the time we have to wait for him in OPD, horrible experience.
