My Mother(Lalitha Swaminthan) was admitted on 1st March 2016, and the Doctor attending to her is Dr. Vikram Huded.
I am very unhappy with the services. Here are a few instances.
5th of March, the doctor had asked the nurse to give her smashed papaya and the papaya did not reach her till 5 pm although she was in the ICU and one of our relative who visited finally fed her. The nurse was apologizing to the doctor which asked why was she not ordered the papaya.
The name of the pulomologist was never mentioned in the case sheet and hence I never knew whom to followup and then finally this came to light and it was taken care of, which even Dr. Mohan knows of the same.
On 12th of March Dr. Vikram had asked the nurse around 11 am to put on the holter to monitor heart functioning for 24 hours. The Holter was added only at 5:30 PM hence no one was there to monitor the same and no questions asked why was the delay. This can be checked from your own records
Ideally she should have been discharged on 13th but since it was a Sunday no Doctors were available. Hence nothing happened.
On 14th of March Dr. Vikram visited my mother at around 10:30 am and had asked the nurses to prepare for discharge, then probably he noticed the Holter report which had some deficiency and suggested a cardiac opinion and was kind enough to speak to Dr.Satyanaraya and and he was expected to visit soon. I was expecting Dr.Satyanaraya for 5 hours and still he did not come. After I reached home I get a call from Dr. D.S Ramakrishna came at 4 PM asking me where is the file of the patient and what is the problem, I asked him to speak to Dr. Vikram for which he replied that he was informed 30 minutes back without telling him the backgound and was asked by Dr. Kannan to have a look at this patient.
Hence the hospital had kept my mother for 13th and 14th for no reason.
Also I am amazed as no Doctors don't take responsibility of the patient except Dr, Vikram Huded
also I am unable to read any profile of any doctors on the website of Narayana or anywhere except of Dr. Vikram Huded in his website.
I heard so much positive about the hospital and I am sorry to say that it is pathetic worse then a Government hospital.
No accountability for any doctors.
Portea id a nurses staffing agency which was referred by your hospital and they have not refunded money which is due to me for the last 10 days, even after me reminding them umpteen times.
Hence over all my experience it terrible.
Well I hope my mother would be discharged tomorrow.
