Till last week I had very good reputation about Narayana Hrudalaya as 2 of my relatives had cardiac surgery here and it was pleasant experience 2 yrs before. However this time when I recommended someone Narayana Hrudalaya, I didnt imagine what is on the way. Starting from diagnosis to administration to refund and care everything has been drastically detoriated. One.One of my friend's sister went for diagnosis and was identified that there is a hole in the heart and will undergo umbrella surgery.So, we booked a semi-private bed on Friday for admission on Monday. On Monday morning after making entire payment I was told that no bed available whereas my serial number for Monday was 1.After making us wait for 6 hours they gave us a bed. The patient was feeling very hungry and they were not giving lunch.I was told that if patient is not diabetic then she can wait. After following up for one more hour they finally gave her lunch.Next day she went for Cathlab test and doctors said that there are multiple hole so it cant be umbrella surgery, it has to be open surgery.WTF??? why didnt you diagnosed this before admission???
The entire procedure, package, doctor, duration everything is changed now.So, we decided we are mentally not prepared for this, we will go back now and comeback.So, they deducted 27000 out of 1.5Lakhs(1Lakh device cost n rest procedure and medicine). For 2 days 27000 for semi-private???WTH?? That was not the end, we were so frustrated that we felt we have to leave n refund whatever is left. They said take this acknowledgement and comeback later. We wont refund immediately. It will take 2-3 days minimum..Bloody beggars why dont u write this on the receipt while making the payment??? They said that you can leave we will courier the cheque to your correspondence address. and what if I dont receive?? You have to come along with an affidavit that you havent received the cheque. So, in anyway its the patient who will be tortured even if its your mistake.Next day I tried to call the numbers mentioned on the refund preparatory acknowledgement and believe me the numbers mentioned were incorrect. I found Narayana Hrudalaya's number from their website and called them up, they redirected to refund section after 3-4 forwards and again I heard a "No", cheque is not ready. In last 2 years there has been a serious degradation in the management of hospital and its administration. They are no longer able to manage high crowd, n moreover they are trying to take unnecessary advantage of the people coming to them by minting on their money. My sincere advice...never ever consult any doctor other than Devi Shetty and enquire about each and every process before making the payment. Unfortunately they dont have a complaint or suggestion section in their website. That shows their attitude to serve the patients now. Once a fan of Narayana now I will always show a Red Flag to Narayana. A strict NO NO.Lot of bogus and inefficient consultants have been hired to serve the crowd without their proven experience.Visit Narayana only if you wish to have a 360 degree harrowing experience and risk your relative on the surgery bed.It has completely become a money minting business oriented hospital.Dear Devi Shetty sir, please wake up and see how the image is getting tarnished.BTW I am still waiting for the refund.
