What is the difference between a dream and reality? A dream gets pregnant by a thought and it delivers the baby called reality. When we kill our dreams with our illogic or others influence, we do abortions. Unlike in the case of human beings, these abortions are necessary in many cases when it comes to nurturing good dreams. If we fail to judge a thought and allow the dream to grow with a false thought it still gives birth to a fine, but dangerous baby which can create great danger, even it can cause your life. It is important that our thoughts are clear to have a happy and peaceful life.

Some 20 or 25 years back, I saw a Malayalam movie, where a writer who experiments with his characters in real life…placing the virtual characters in real world and adopt their proceedings to his novel. It was a class movie with not much commercial elements, but a big commercial success. Can I expect a class film like that from the famous director duo Abbas-Mastan? They are one of my best director selections when it comes to commercial cinema, though I was little disappointed with their last film 36 China Town. In fact I cannot and the directors didn't endure to make it as a class film, but a commercial one.

Sophie(Urvashi Sharma) was followed by a peson called Rakesh in Goa and for refusing his love, he tried to kill her and she ran away from Goa to Dubai and now is working in Dubai, but she shifts her jobs in frequent intervals because of one reason or other. When she was working as a supplier in a restaurant, a customer behaved not so good against her and she was pleased to take her finger prints in that person's face. Karan (Bobby Deol) a multi millionaire was in the restaurant that time and from there on, she started living in his villa, but as a paying guest. Obviously they fall in love and they confirmed it each other. When Sophie was celebrating the engagement news with her friends in a party, the organizers asked her to dance with any one of the men present there as her last dance before the engagement, as per custom of Egypt. Vicky(Akshay Khanna) was present there and he was impressed with the beauty of Sophie and was taking the scenes in his handycam. Sophie opted to dance with Vicky and by the end of the dance they reached a stage so that they forget the surroundings and about to kiss each other. Anyway, the scene ended there, but the other love is born. Within short meetings, Sophie realized that her love to Vicky is more real. She was caught in between. In fact Vicky was hired to do the duty as assigned by Rohit, to kill her. Rohit check now and then to know about the progress. Once enter into real love Vicky conveyed to Rohit that he cannot do that as per contract. At the same time Vicky refused to accept Sophie, since her marriage is already fixed and that too with a loving and caring millionaire. Where Sophie's and Karan's marriage is going to materialized. When she is about to enter into church, Vicky's friends come to her to say something and she is now surely confused….let me stop here…as from here on, I cannot give details as the movie is taking a swift changes from here and any link cannot be meaningful without further explanations. However, let me tell you one thing. The Villain who does the killing (by end) doesn't get punishment, for a change.

The main plus of the movie is that the suspense lasted till the end and in that sense it is a suspense thriller. The entire movie is presented in a good format, pleasant and good for watching. The theme of the movie is good. However, I felt that the theme got a lighter treatment in the last quarter of the movie, thought the proceedings were interesting. A little more care in these portions would have made a big difference.

Bobby Deol did justice to the character and the actor hold a good screen presence, which is an added advantage to any frames he is in. Akshay Khanna plays his usual self and gives a very good performance. Newcomer Urvashi Sharmagives a mature performance in most of the occasions, except few initial scenes. Once established, she has done a brilliant performance, considering she is a new comer. These 3 characters shared most of the length of the film and rest everybody did ok job. Overall, the performance by cast is very good, though not outstanding.

Beauty of Dubai is brilliantly caught in camera. (You will get a good Dubai experience in the film.) Though the movie tend to be like a Vikram Bhat movie, the light and pleasantness bought into frames made a big difference and I have to say the cinematographer did a good job.

Songs were just average. Choreography were half good and half bad. The introduction song for Sophie didn't looked good at all where the dance with Akshay was choreographed well. Again, the dance in the beach festival camp…the set has designed to be one for a belly dance and what we get is a less than average typical bolly dance. So I will not give a pass mark to choreography, which would have been much better, adding value to the film.

The film though had 16 reels just finished in 2 hours or so and one wonders how fast the interval has come up.

Like 36 China Town, there are few missing links at the end, however, it is not that evident like 36CT and the suspense hold and the surprise element is best utilized. The theme got a good scope for a class film for the masses, but the directors didn't look considered the option seriously and the movie will end up as a commercial film.

Overall, the movie is a worth watch one, surely so if you prefer to watch a movie this weekend. However, it is not the best of Abbas Mastan or not reaching upto Humraaz, but better than 36CT as a suspense movie(not as a comedy).
