Nando's is becoming an increasingly popular fast-food dining outlet and, although their network is much smaller than McDonalds, Burger King or Kentucky Fried Chicken, they make up for a lock of quantity with quality. In my opinion, they arguably produce the tastiest dishes of all the fast food chains that I have patronised.
The core product at Nando's is their tasty flame grilled chicken, which I personally find, is both unique and very tasty. When you visit Nando's you place your order at the counter, you are given a number, and within minutes your freshly cooked meal is delivered to your table.
You can order ¼, ½ and a full chicken or from various set meals such as ¼ chicken and chips or rice, ½ chicken combo which comprises ½ chicken, chips, coleslaw, a bun and a can of coca cola or Nando's chicken choice made-up of a full chicken, 2 large chips, 2 large Portuguese salads / coleslaw. Other items on the menu include chicken burgers, chicken wings, mediterranean mee, coleslaw salad, peri corn and desserts such as chocolate mousse and trifle. Apart from being flame grilled you can select from a range of very spicy dips including extra hot peri-peri, hot peri-peri, mild peri-peri and lemon and herb. You can also choose tomato ketchup if you are a bit fearful of spicy dips.
My personal and I have been very satisfied both with the quality of the food and the service. Nando's specialise in flame grilled chicken which is a very tasty dish and even their chips seem to me to be far superior to the french fries you get served-up in most other fast-food outlets. Service is good, the ambience pleasant, and they get top marks from favourite is the hot peri-peri! You can get chilled mineral water and coca cola to cool you down! I have visited several branches of Nando's and also availed myself of their home delivery service, for which there is a small delivery charge, on five or six occasions. The food has always arrived within 30 minutes of my order - that is what I reckon is good service.
