I just watched this movie today and this song rocks!! Its one of the best songs of the year. Javed Saab you are the best with all due respect. Main jahan rahoon, main kahin bhi hoon, teri yaad saath hai….kisi se kahoon, ke nahi kahoon yeh jo dil ki baat hai…Its a die hard jilted lover's song.. Its a song for those away from their beloved's for whatever reason. Its a song for all romantics' The song reflects the reality of life.

In simple words.. Sometimes life feels so complete and yet inside your heart you feel so empty without your loved ones.. Very true..Once you listen to the song you will listen to it many times. Brilliantly sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and excellently supported by Krishna, this is one of the most innovative songs of this year so far that I've heard.

Everything is in good measures. Strings background, poignant tabla beats, somber sarangi, piano-n-guitar fillers, classical scattering, fine imagery from Javed Akhtar’s pen and as the song peaks its as if the heart is crying for a love that is lost in the isolation of loneliness. A song worth listening many times over.
