Nostalgia!!. Review on Nainital

I visited nainital for 3 days an 2nights this aug end on my college ''study'' trip.

we left delhi d night before and took a back breaking journey all night...add to that our driver a jazzy b and malkhit singh fan and might I add one crazy a@* freak. he acually took a reverse on d ghats to re-align d bus so that he cud make the turn...imagine us in d back seat watching d edge of road come rght under us!

but it was all worth it when we got up..yes we actually manged to sleep in that knee curling, stomach rolling, bladder bursting thing!....hot chai admidst the mountains...and then the killer- the lake view of d city complete with clouds right on d water! d slight chill in d crisp clean air!! heaven....

but do make sure u reach before 9'30 for they dont let lagre vehicles in the city after that...as our juniors later learnt and had to carry thier luggage to the hotel from there...while we reached hogged d best rooms and chilled!

oh d city is a dream...for most of my 'never left mumbai,never will' peers it was an eye-opner and they finally understood what id been saying for all these years!!

it was funny to see them flustered over d thought of a place smaller than even bandra!

well all d freaks of nature can go straight to shopping but I suggest see tiffin point and all first don take d horse or d guide go explore like we did...of course that means that we're not sure if it was tiffin top we finally reached or sum place else ..becos we started thinkin it wud b a 30 min hike but ended up climbimg for 2 and 1/2 hrs! but wat a crazy time we had...after a point d exhaustion jus totally gives u a high!

we reached d top to find a amazing view..cold breeze and hot maggi!!

without a doubt d best I ever had!

then ofcourse there was d boat ride on d lake we decided to go for it after it was dark...BIG MISTAKE! we reached d middle of d lake n did d typical snap taking n al ..soon to realise d boat guy was drunk!neways in retrospect it was fun.

tibet market is a cute place..d whole city is flooded with candles..it gets on ur nerves after a while

but d best part of tibet market is d food area...momo and thupka!!!!oooooh yummy!

everyone must try the thupka ! its d yummiest thing ever!

gosh ...i wish we'd never left...i happened to get some postcards of nainital in winters after snowfall and I think im missing d best part of it!! also I saw this book on spiti and it has me smitten...iv been lucky to hav been to n lived in leh for bout 3 months as a kid....i jus so want to go now!!if theres anyone out there with money to burn dont hesitate to sponser me.

oh n I played snooker in nainital and it was so much fun...for jus 40/-!!
