I would like to mention here what has been not mentioned by my other MS friends.

KAUSANI: It is located a little away from Nainital and we had reached there by late evening. The hotel was a small one and apparently no neighbours in vision. The thrill of being away and aloof stirred us. We had dinner and a camp fire. The next morning was one of the rarest in my life. The pre-sunrise, sun rise and post sunrise beauty is matchless, wordless. I leave it here for my other friends to experience.

BHIM TAAL: Bhim taal is one of the oldest naturally formed lake.Scientist and technologists have brought out the samples of the earth below the lake and reportedly thousands of years old.

ALMODA: Almoda is very easily approachable from Nainital. It is a city to watch from outside. The houses are constructed on hills and appears like cascading over one another. In simple words, the ground floor of a house up-hill shall appearabove the terrace of the one at a lower height.

RANIKHET: It is pleasure to see a vast flat terrain in a hilly area.

CORBETT TIGER PARK: Jim Corbett was a great hunter. He once saw a couple of tigers just in readiness to begin a love-act. The tiger was angry to find him and attempted to attack. But the tigress ''told'' him not to do so when they are in a different mood. At the request of his ''wife'' the tiger forgave Corbett and Corbett was so much hurt that he gave up hunting since then and started building what you to-day see as Jim Corbett National Park.If you are keen to see, check before you plan whether it is open or not.
