Frankly speaking, Bala as a director is an useless creature, and it wont be wrong to kill him saying "Tu Dusht".
Full story as a gist:
Arya's father leaves him in Kasi during his childhood and returns home, due to suggestions by astrologists. And Arya turns into an Aghori. And 14 years later he is brought back home. Parallely, A group of (handicapped) beggers are shown to be controlled by the villian, being tortured a lot. Pooja is one among them as a blind girl. Some useless scenes pass by till climax, where Arya kills the villian, and kills Pooja too(to relieve her from the pains she suffer).
Bala comes prepared that he should do only something different(which is a shameless attitute), and in this attempt, without any story at all, tries to show the life of (handicapped) beggers, and aghoris. The sole aim is to make you feel sympathetic towards them, (which should have been shown as a documentary instead, if he had really that intention of showing the life of beggars).
There may be people who claim this movie out of the box, saying that this is not a run on the mill masala stuff. Making a non-masala movie doesnt mean that u should make a non-sense movie. There are few directors who still do Non-Malasa good movies, which have been recieved well by audiences.
Bala should change his attitude of trying to make the viewer amazed, just by making disturbing and crude scenes, and rather try to direct beautiful movies; Of course the tag 'Beautiful' is better than 'Amazing'. The only good thing about this movie is Ilayaraga, whose songs and BGM are both very good. 2 Songs from the album are missing in the movie. If u are feeling so happy these days, and want to challenge yourself if someone can disturb u or irritate you so much, watch this movie.
