NA TUM JANO NA HUM directed by Arjun Sablok is not a bad attempt for a first time director,i was apprehensive to see the film after reading some bad reviews of the film but the film turned out to be quite a good time-pass.NTJNH stars Hrithik,Esha Deol and Saif ali khan and the music is by Rajesh Roshan.NTJNH is a love story but the treatment is a bit different with lots of twist and turns.
The story is sort of confusing,but in brief is about Rahul(Hrithik)and Esha(Esha) who are not knowing each other but get in touch via Radio,and start exchanging letters and slowly fall in love though they haven't met and neither do they know each others name.But later Esha is asked to marry Akshay(Saif) and its Rahul who suggests Akshay to marry Esha as he is not knowing that Esha is the gal he was exchanging notes with and later when he knows about it he doesn't reveal it to her and goes.Esha also doesn't marry Akshay and when Rahul comes to know about this he goes back to her.All wells that ends well.
The direction is good though the film goes at a very slow pace and tends to get boring at times and the film needs to be edited.Some scenes at times look Disjointed.But otherwise some of the humurous and emotional scenes have been done pretty well.
As for the acting,Hrithik is great as always,he looks superb,dances well(though its good he isn't made to dance much in this film)acts and emotes well too.Its sad that things are not working good for this fine actor.Esha has a long way to go but she is still better in this film compared to KMDSP.I don't like Esha's face much and she has too shed down some weight too.The only thing I like about her is her dancing.Saif is cool too but he is getting repetative with his casanova roles.He is very talented actor but he needs to be more selective in his roles.The rest of the cast is passable.
The music of the film is good.Rajesh roshan comes with a better score then AMALL.I like Hai rama and Chunariya and I love the song Tum.Some of the songs are picturised beautifully.The locales are good and the sets are vibrant too.Looks like a lot of money has gone into making the film.
NTJNH is not a bad attempt looking at the kind of films coming out so if u are looking forward to watching a hindi film and not expecting much from it,watch NTJNH if not for anyone then Hrithik.
