Please Go to The NEXT retail stores Only if you are looking for the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES and Products that come to you at a CHEAPER prices. I have been to many Next retail stores in Chennai searching for a Voltas AC.FInally I had come across Anna Nagar's Next showroom who had informed me that they would get the stock at a cheaper price by the end of March.After visiting 3 times they had told that Next doesnt stock Voltas so had adviced me to contact Next Sores in Ambattur which is around 20 Kms from my place.I went there and they didnt have any Voltas AC in stock and had told me it would take a week for them to get us a Voltas AC.
I waited for a week and followed up after my following up they had sent an AC home which had a pretty old cardboard cover and looked like it has been stocked since a long time. The guy who came to fix the AC wasnt a good electrician as well.He wasnt sure which wire goes where.He called someone and somehow fixed the AC. After fixing the AC he had checked that the remote wasnt working and had given some weird expressioins before declaring the remote as non functional. he promised a replacement the very next day.The surprise is we havent got the remote yet.We call Next, Ambattur everyday and their reply would be "we have a remote ready and a person would get it today evening."
Now the guy has stopped picking the phone.Out of frustration I went to the Next and visited the shop myself and after arguing with the guy he had agreed that he would send us the remote next day with a person as they are out of stock. The next day a person came with a remote and tried to make it work and had finally told us that the remote is not for the model of AC I have bought and it is for another model and he will get the correct remote in the evening.That evening has never come till date. We had purchased the AC on 30th of March and are atill awaiting for remote without any response from the retailer. The customer service really sucks.I am still awaiting for the person to come with a remote with no HOPE. I would say if you are willing to experience WORST customer services then you should go to NEXT.They wouldnt let your expectations down in this regard. Thanks, Djay
