Mysore being a 2nd largest city in karnataka, always having historically enriched by its heritage. From Bangalore it is hardly 140km so we have been to mysore more than 3 times. We always made a point to visit on Sunday because we want to cherish our eyes with lighting of mysore palace. From tipu sultan palace which is must visit.
The palace where tipu used to stay fantastically renovated and presentable. From there to brindavan garden which is another beautiful place to spend time. We generally prefer lunch in brindavan garden there are good restaurant to have food. Chamundeswari temple which is 30 kms from there. Mysore very good tourist spot. Its very neat and clean and recently it got first position for its cleanliness. It is not difficult to get good hotel or resort to stay. We never stayed as its near to Bangalore. Preferred to come in winter season. Otherwise it will be very humid and hot.
