When I was in Infosys Mysore DC, I went to the Mysore zoo with my friends.The weather was nice.Huge crowd was there, so our excitement gets doubled.
Mysore Zoo is a 157-acre zoo . It is one of the oldest and most popular zoos in India, and is home to a wide range of species.It has an excellent collection of animal and the greenery around them is beautiful as lot of hills in the background and lake is there.You will find elephants, lions, tiger, gorilla, giraffe, water monitor lizard and lot of more species even I don't remember the name.I have seen the chat bir zoo near chandigarh but I never seen some species over there also.
One interesting thing I found in the zoo is Animal Adoption Scheme. A creative step towards conserving the wild. It will not only ensure good fund flow but responsibility of the people .so next time when you visit mysore, visit mysore zoo
