Mypad. If you are a Telugu man, call it Mypadu. The sizzlling beach on the shores of Bay of Bengal. Located about 18 km from the district headquarters of Nellore in Andhra Pradesh, Mypad offers you the best of serenity and tranquil moments in your life. When you visit this place, you are sure to consider it the most memorable place of tourist importance all through your travel.

Except on Sundays, generally the public do not visit the place. However, the place is much loved by the youth who enjoy the sea winds, the splash of waves and the splitter of surf.

You have the road available right into the sands. You will be thrilled to see the fishermen folk busily engaged in their activity from the afternoon till the sunset. You can buy a big vanjaram fish for a Rs 200/- (outside you may not find even if you pay Rs 500). Crabs, and some known fish also available on the sand for immediate sale. If you give bucks, you can take a stroll into the sea, of course, within a vicinity of two km at the most.

You have a number of buses available from Atmakur bus stop in Nellore town, from where the fare is less than Rs 5/- It takes about 40 minutes to reach the lively beach. If you ride on a motorbyke along with your friends, (tribles is no problem), you can reach in half an hour.

Enroute you can get fish, mutton, chicken dishes from roadside hotels. You also have wine shops. (But dont throw the bottles in the sands and pollute the atmosphere). Instead, you pray to Lord Samudra and throw it away as far as you can sling in to the sea.

Stay there from morning 6.00 am to evening 7. 00 pm. After that, it is not advisable. The sea is also rough sometimes. Be careful. If you are taking your women and children, be doubly careful.

So, my dear friends from all over the world, come and enjoy. You have a guest house (Roads and Buildings) at Mypadu village and rooms available for simple payments.
