Myntra quality on average is really down. I forever begrudge the day they took over and closed jabong because jabong was so much better than myntra. I only switched to myntra when they wiped jabong out of existence, literally.


A lot of stuff you buy on myntra isn’t worth the price listed or has other defects or quality issues. The photos are touched up a lot to look good which is deceptive. But they also don’t want you to return those products. So they came up with “fair return usage policy” so they can penalise you for returning products. In the age where the direct competitors of this company are AJIO and Amazon, this policy is at best delusional. You really think I will pay convenience fee per order when I can just order it from Ajio? Free shipping was literally the only benefit Myntra offered over other apps to me as insider, with that gone the app is useless. It is really insulting how they treat you despite spending so much money on this store. I have been using it for many years but I really see no reason to prefer it over AJIO.


As for branded items, you can buy those anywhere and myntra prices are usually on the higher side so no reason to buy branded stuff from here, go to Ajio or Amazon.


Also as a side note, their reviews process is really suspicious. Of the 20 reviews I wrote, all were rejected. I have 99% acceptance rate on Amazon and have wrote hundreds of reviews over the years. They just give really weird reasons and reject reviews. So the reviews you see is a very small minority of reviews that went through.


Their customer care is frustrating. I pray I never run into issues because if I do it’s not going to be addressed for days on end. Every agent parrots pre set responses without listening to customer concern. So it will be a hit or miss, mostly latter.


They also face shipping/returns issue more than other companies in my regions because they use their own agents and not companies like delhivery for my region which are highly professional. I have often faced issues regarding unprofessionalism of their shipping staff like marking deliveries that didn’t happen or saying customer wasn’t available for return pick up when they never attempted it.
