Their was a time when the only source of being touch with your loved ones and your families was through either telephone or post. But after Internet things have changed and you are never left out. In India, you have really big families, with 100s of relatives, who used to stay together as a joint family. But over the decades, I am sure most of our relatives have scattered all over the world and being in touch is one big problem. Hence sometimes, I avoid browsing the website from home as I have only 56.6kbps Dial Up connection .MYRATING : 6/10
Can the looks kill you...
Its very important that the looks of the website is really user friendly. As MyFmly.com knew that its going to be used heavily they have used shades of Blue & Gray which really suits the user's eyes and he doesnt have problem if he spends more time. The fonts used in the website are Verdana & Arial, but at some places they have managed to have Timesnewroman. Navigating the website is sometimes difficult because they have lots of ads(Guys the need to earn right!!!) of their partners hence it gets messy. But you have to remember that everything doesnt come free in this world. MYRATING : 7/10
CONTENT IS KING....
Now this is the most important area of the entire website, just loading fast and having good looks is not enough. Lets run through the features this website has to offer to the Community world.
Create a Page for your Family...
Probably its one of the simpliest web page, I have created in my life. Actually every thing is ready made, you dont have to make anything. Once you have logged in you can create the page in the name of your family, whether it is Iyer's Family or John's Family, you have your families space ready. Once you have created this page, now its your duty as an adminstrator to send invitation to all your relatives, for that purpose you need to have their email address. Hence, once they get the invitation, they need to login and bang youre' entire family is united.As you have taken the initiative you have become the administrator, but no problem you can give administrator rights to other members also. It gives you 5mb of space and I feel thats more than enough, but still if you are hungry for more space pay up and you get around 105mb of Space more. There is no limit to the number of sites you can have. Develop individual websites for both sides of your family. Allow your children to create their own website.

Access multiple websites using the same User ID and Password. Allows you to post photos, calendar events, news, and other files to your various sites in a single action.
Address Book...
You have got an address book which would store the email address of all your family members. It serves you like your normal Outlook address book.

Probably one my favorite area on the website which helps me keep track of all my relatives and friends Birthdate. I am very bad with remembering Birthdays, hence its been like a boon for me. You can store the events in advance and you can send your messages well in advance and hence your sister wont get angry that you have forgetten her Birthday.

Also, the Chat Room is private and only members of your website can participate It actually monitors every member at what time and what date he has logged in.

YES!!, Like you have Organsiation chart in the similar manner you can make your entire families tree. Hence, next time if you are too confused, he is your 3rd cousin or 4th Cousin, just have a glance at the Family Tree.
