My Dollar Store gives the impression of an American outlet with American products. However from acquaintances in the US, I have come to know that these stores sell only cheap Chinese products even in the US. Many people find it more acceptable to their status to accept cheap Chinese products from an American store.
All the products sold here are available at 20% less price in open markets and even thru roadside vendors. The store offers no guarantee on quality of the products it sells. However this store is ideal for people wanting to buy cheap gift items which look costly and the enormous variety available under a single roof.
But always avoid buying food items such as chocolates, drinks and cosmetic products such as shampoos, creams etc. which may be sub-standard and fakes.
