My ten most favorite foods is hard as I love most anything. The following will not be in order of favorites.

Pizza has to be way up on the list. Years ago when I was married my husband worked at a pizza parlor and we could get as many free as we wanted so I kept having him bring one home for dinner. He thought I would tire of it and said I could not eat it for a month in a row and ever want another so I took the challenge. When the 30 days were up he asked what I wanted for dinner and I said pizza. LOL

Some people thing pizza is fattening but if you have it in a reasonable portion such as 2 slices with a tossed salad it is a very good meal.I love to make my own pizza and I put tons of stuff on it. Of course there is sauce and cheese but I add black olives, green olives, broccolli, cauliflower, red and green peppers, mushrooms, zucchinni and pineapple. One pizza of mine you can only eat one piece of so it goes a long way. Very healthy with all the veggies on. I am not a vegetarian but I do love vegetables.

Prime rib is another favorite of mine and the only type of steak I will eat. I love it nice and rare and well seasoned. I always serve baked potato and asparagrus with it so this would be my favorite meal.

I love home made soups and make quite a few different kinds. They go great on a chilly day. I make a huge pot so there is plenty left over to freeze and microwave for lunches.

I am one of those cooks that do not measure.

I make one I call brocolli corn chowder, You peel a big batch of potatoes, throw it in a pot with brocolli, onions, peppers and cook till done, drain this and add 2 cans of creamed corn and a bit of milk it depends on how thin you like it and some butter, salt garlic and so on. It is great, easy and very filling.

Mac and cheese and no not the kind out of a box. I cook up the macaroni and have a big casserole dish waiting. To the drained and cooked macaroni I add mozerella cheese and cheddar cheese, a can of cream of brocolli soup and a can of cream of mushroom soup and 2 cans of milk. Stir it all up and crumble ritz crackers on top and bake till brown on top. I have also added different meats to this.I love to cook as long as it is quick and easy.

I love home made applesauce. I just peel and cut the apples, cook with a bit of water not too much or you sauce will be too thin. You can flavor this with cinnamon or try adding another fruit. I like mine with raspberries cooked in.

Home made bread is another of my favorites. Nothing like the smell of it baking or having it warm with a meal. A bread baker is a good investment as it is a great time saver.

A quick and easy grilled cheese sandwich goes great with that home made soup. My boyfriend showed me a really great way to make it. You toast some toast, spread on a little butter, add the cheese and microwave it for 30 seconds to melt the cheese.

Shepard's pie goes over real well in this house. You brown and cook your hamburger ( I broil mine) make a batch of mashed potatoes, add 2 cans of creamed corn stir and bake till the flavors blend. I also add butter and salt and garlic to the mashed potatoes.

Meatloaf is another quick dish that we all love. Sometimes I make it with spagetthi sauce sometimes with gravy. all I mix into the meat is what sauce I am using. It needs no further ingrediants but you can add a packet of lipton onion soup mix if you like. I put more sauce on top and bake for an hour at 350 degrees

Last but not least is ice cream. I love many flavors and always have several in my freezer, great for a quick dessert or just a snack
