I have been surfing the net for the last seven years now. Have come across a lot of websites. What I like in a website is the user-friendly nature of the site and the simplicity in its look.

Here's my list of the ten favourite websites. Most of them are basic sites, but they are lot useful.

  1. Mouthshut.com

Had to be the first on my list, most of you would say. But hey, let's be fair.

Mouthshut is a great site in terms of a bouncing board. And the best feature of it is that there are people who take the time and effort to read and post their comments on a review written by you.

  1. Google.com

Google, by far, has proved to be the best search site. It is fast, effective and even has the option to search the web for text, images, groups and even the directory. It always comes in handy for gathering information on any topic.

  1. Indiagames.com

Quite a unique site with unique games, as of course the title suggests. There are games based on even the Mahabharata. A good time-pass.

  1. Rediff.com

Rediff is the most precise site when it comes to news - be it politics or films. Even the rediffmail serves better than the rest when it comes to sending attachments.

  1. 123greetings.com

E-cards save a lot of effort and energy to convey your best wishes and greetings to friends and family. And this particular site has a wide variety of free greetings. It also has cards for every mood and every occassion.

  1. Travelgini.com

You need any kind of information of any city in India or Asia or the World, travelgini is a good site. It provides information right from the modes of travel to stay to places to be seen to places one can shop in and so on and so forth.

  1. Poetry.com

One gets inspiration to write good stuff only when you are used to reading great stuff. Although I don't really write poetry, I love to read it. And this is the site for some amazing poetry.

  1. Movies.com

Everything you ever wanted to know about Hollywood films - current or otherwise. There are trailers of upcoming films and also boxoffice results and reviews of just-released films.

  1. Ritzcamera.com

Being an amateur photographer, this site on photography serves as an ideal teacher. There is information on the types of cameras and lenses alongwith lessons in photography and photo galleries.

  1. Enriqueiglesias.com

My most personal favourite website. A very well-designed site includes personal info on the star alongwith info about his career and some great pictures.
