Trrrrrringg! goes the alarm, and I finally get up, cursing the dumb ‘snooze’ facility in it. It seems to be as stubborn as me. Slowly, rubbing my eyes, I stare at the time. It’s 7:30. SEVEN THIRTY!! I cast one more unbelieving glance at it, and feel the tears well up in my eyes. ‘Again late for school!’ Hey but wait! Why isn’t my pesky bro around to bother me? He’s already left?! Oh no! I’m in for a biig scolding from ma, about wahi ‘big sister responsibility’ wala business. Stupid thing, couldn’t he have woken me up before leaving….. must be giggling away wherever he is! ’Aaj toh mare hi mare!’ And I walk sheepishly to the other room…………. But?…?.. what do I see? Ma and Shashu ghode bechkar so rahe hain! Aaj Sunday hai? Nahin to! Who toh kal hi tha! I pinch myself hoping its not another one of those stupid nightmares again! ‘ouuch!’… “What’s your problem? Can’t you let people sleep peacefully even on the first day of your diwali vacations?!” Diwali vacations?? Ooooh….. Diwali vacations!!

Having got over the initial flood of relief after having found out that I was not actually late for school again, I get back to normal. Lekin the excitement is so much that ab toh neend aaneka koi chance hi nahin hai! Kya karen? <!idea!>’I’ll finish all the homework so that the rest of the vactions I can have a balst without any bojh on my mind!’

I’ll finish that boooring project first! Windmills? Eeew! The ones Holland is famous for? Lekin hum un par project banakar kya karen?? Karna toh padega! But how do they work?? Wish I had a butler, would have asked him only! Par butler toh hai naa! And not some aisa waisa one….. Its Jeeves at my service! Where? At askjeeves.com of course! Just type in the question, and a hundred answers are served on a platter!

But, what if the answer is not satisfactory? I really wanna know how a windmill works! Oh! How can I forget? howstuffworks.com is the place to be! To know how anything under the Sun works……. from windmills to the oscars……. You cannot find a better place, believe me!

Project toh ho gaya! Now what? Oh yes! Dad told me yesterday, we’re planning a trip to Malaysia. And he’s told me to plan out an itinery. How do I make that now? Fiker not! Google.com hai naa! Just type in ‘malaysia itinery’, and within a sec it finds you thousands of sites matching your keywords. And I find some 5-6 really good plans that fit our budget perfectly! Done!!

It’s already noon, and the Sun’s beating down on our heads. Rush indoors! Lekin karen kya? I’m soo bored! And I know the perfect place to be! Bored.com… where else?! One thing is for sure. Not one moment on this site will let you feel bored. If nothing else, play anagrams with your name, check out the funniest palindromes, try some weird quizes, make some friends…. And generally have lots and lots of pure FUN!

Shaam ho gayi, and I’m back from playing B’minton. Mail time!! And only one website flashes across my mind. Mail.yahoo.com!! Really user-friendly and comfortable to use….. this site’s almost my lifeline!! One part of my day I always look foreward to!

So many mails?? What’s the matter? Oh! The usual no. of forewards…. Wish I can get back at all those people who keep filling up my mailbox with some 99 forewards a day (I’m exaggerating a bit there…. But you got the point!). Of course I can! Forwardgarden.com hai naa! Apart from just getting back at them, I can myself browse through the thousands of forwards there, in some 20 different categories. The forwards are rated too, so you can guess which ones are good even before you open them! Watch out everyone…. Bachke rehna!

Hey! Aur kuch bhi hai mails mein….. a reminder?? Of what? Oh no! Today is Priyanka’s B’day! Forgot about it altogether. Now what? There’s no time to make a card and go and deliver it to her house! Mom’s calling! Oh yes! We’re going to Crossword in another hour. Just enuf time to check out whether I wanna order some books. And without hesitation, I type in Amazon.com. The books page has everything about every book I wanna check out. The cost, the review, the sneak-peek, the front cover, the back page…. Everything!! Ooh… I’m lovin it!

Back from Crossword, and had a bite from Pizza Hut on the way back! So time to go to sleep! But wait! Am I missing something?? Of Course I am!! I still haven’t payed my daily visit to my favourite site….. mouthshut.com!! Can’t catch a wink of sleep without it!! Just go to the page and see the latest 50 reviews….
