Yeah, that's No Mercy

Marty Cintron, Ariel Hernandez and Gabriel Hernandez are No Mercy and their debut self-titled Arista album is filled with delicious slices of all aspects of pop music. Although No Mercy is infused with a definite energized party atmosphere, the upbeat dance songs are gracefully tempered with mid-tempo jams and serious ballads that showcase the trio's vocal harmonizing. But what really separates No Mercy from the rest of the pack is their overall sound. Call it pop music with a Latin twist! By injecting pop, dance and R&B; rhythms with the Mediterranean beauty of the Spanish guitar, the music of No Mercy takes on a whole new feel.

It all started when Marty Cintron, a young man from the Bronx, New York, was performing on the streets of South Beach in Miami, Florida one evening. His strong voice, an acoustic guitar and his good looks peaked the interest of a Bold man with a red baseball cap. He was none other than a European producer, who told him that he would like to work with him. Cintron along with his two best friends, Ariel and Gabriel Hernandez, who are twins, one month later, were in a recording studio in Germany.

Whereas Cintron, hails from the Bronx, the Hernandez brothers, were born and raised in Cuba. All three met in Miami Beach several years ago. By day, the Hernandez brothers worked in a Cuban restaurant -- a friendship began. By night, the brothers could be found at Prince's club, Glam Slam, dancing the night away. Prince, so impressed with their skills, asked the brothers to audition for an upcoming tour of his. Not only did the twins end up touring with Prince, but they also appeared in many videos by The Artist Formerly Know As Prince.

They always had high hopes to support themselves doing what they really loved to do. With their debut album, No Mercy wanted to create something new and fresh that people---both young and old---could relate to. They were simply trying to come up with something a little new. Today, they are looked upon as trendsetters and not as a group that copies others.

When people all around the world hear one of their songs, they cheer, ''Yeah, that's No Mercy.' ''
