Just got back from the showing here in Los Angeles, I'm gonna keep it short. SRK, this movie would be nothing without him! I loved the first half so much. Kajol an SRK seriously no other pair can ever come close to them! They are perfect for each other!
You know my only concern with the movie was what Darknights review said it was way to cheesy in second half I guess cause I'm a Muslim and I live here in america and a lot of the stuff in the second half I was like "umm yeaaa okk" it was just too much, they could of done without a lot of scenes as far as showing how good Muslims are. The scenes that I thought were not needed spoilers in white below the whole scene when srk goes to the mosque in downtown, I've gone to every mosque in LA and no where do they ever sit an talk like that. The scene when srk goes back to save the mama from the flood and all the other Muslims show up. The scene when srk actually meets obama!
And how almost every american was anti Muslim. I have lived here in LA, CA for 20 years now and I never experienced any hatred by people for being Muslim. I guess in other states people have after 9/11 but not me, so maybe I cant relate with it. I guess I just love karan johar directing/script in k3g kuch kuch hota hai and even kabhi alvida na khena, I personally think Bollywood is trying to much to be like Hollywood, and that's not why I like watching Bollywood movies! Like the preview for kites, you know its just to Hollywood!
Singing dancing family drama that's what sets Hollywood and Bollywood apart. I'm just so glad Karan said his next with SRK is gonna be back to his roots cause that's what Bollywood needs right now. People that think the first two karan movies were to much drama in k3g and kuch kuch hota hai, well too bad, cause in the west we love it.
I still think everyone should see this movie though, its a really really really good first half, and superb srk acting, never have I seen any actor in Bollywood this good! This is SRKs movie all the way!
