It is a question of milions. if you have expartise on imvesting in stocks than one can invest in stock for long term.it gives us very good return no dute .but most of us invest in stocks it go down.then we can't rady to take loss.the loss go biger and biger.in mutual fund 1 to 3% expance ratio .that is go big when ones portfolio go biger .but we can enjoy a expart hand take care of my portfolio.mutual fund give us good return than bank FD.
but stocks gives us more and more return .
it goes one to he has ability to take risk as well as expartisetion.
